Adaptation:
Adjustments or changes in behavior, physiology and structure of an organism for it to become more suited to its environment, to better its chances of survival.
Behavioral adaptation:
The way an animal acts or behaves to stay alive.
Physiological adaptation:
A metabolic or physiologic change within a cell or tissue, of an organism, in response to an external environmental stimulus resulting in an improved ability of that organism to survive with the change in environment.
Structural adaptation:
When an animal or a living thing is adapted to its environment by the way it's body is built.
